Initial Meeting:
Our design process begins with a detailed discussion to understand the goals and desires the client has for their landscape project. During your initial meeting we encourage our clients to have photos and other information about landscape elements that they find appealing. A Corliss Landscape and Irrigation representative will also have a portfolio of our work (similar to that on this website) so that they can emphasize certain landscape components or principles. The services that we offer include a thorough site analysis and documentation, plan development, and final presentation of a comprehensive design.

Fee Structure:
At the conclusion of our initial meeting, after discussing your landscape project, we would be pleased to submit our fees for landscape design services. The design fees are based on the size and scope of your project and may be credited back if Corliss Landscape and Irrigation does the installation.

Site Analysis and Documentation:
The first step to site analysis is to develop a base plan of the property. This can be completed by detailed site measurements or by being supplied with an engineer’s site plan. A series of digital photographs are then taken as well as other pertinent site measurements. This package of information provides the necessary elements to begin the design process.

Design Development:
With site documentation and client preferences compiled, a member of Corliss Landscape and Irrigation’s design team will begin developing a detailed landscape design. Careful thought is put into every aspect of the design, taking into consideration existing conditions, exposure, drainage, lighting conditions, soil type and, other environmental variables. When the design is completed it is presented to the client for review. Once approved, Corliss Landscape and Irrigation can provide estimates for all or portions of the design.

Project Implementation:
Corliss Landscape and Irrigation offers a full landscape design and installation service. Our qualified construction manager and staff of installation crews ensures the quality and efficiency of every project. Once the project is completed, detailed information about plant, lawn and masonry care is provided.
